Now two weeks ago us Tat's were visiting the New Forest in Hampshire, on the Saturday the sun was shinning so we set off driving through the forest, we got to a place called Beaulieu what a lovely place. well our eyes nearly popped out of our heads as we walked up the main street in the village as there on the corner was a Teddy Bear shop woo hoo our little legs had never run as fast except when we were chased by a bull once.
The shop called Bear it in Mind turns out to be home of Bartie Bear and all his friends, well us Tat's were welcomed in with open arms I have to say I now know what a child feels like in a sweet shop as this Bear shop was fantastic, Julie and Amanda two lovely lady's who run the shop said we could please ourself s, they introduced us to Bartie Bear who happened to be having a tea party on the day we visited he said he was waiting for some friends to turn up so we joined him for tea and cake, we took turns telling stories and learning about each other.
Then Bartie showed us his hotel and spar for Bears if a Bear is sick and needs fixing up they can go to the hotel and enjoy a luxury stay whilst being in hospital "can we meet some of the patients now" I asked "of course you can" said Bartie.
We started to meet some of the Bears who were in the hotel spar and hospital one Bear had some nose stitching which had frayed another had some paw pad trouble but were all very happy to be in the hospital for treatment, Bartie said we could go through to the intensive bear unit if we wanted, so I warn you now if you are a Bear with a nervous disposition don't read on.
We walked through into a lovely clean room with pictures of Bears on the walls three Bears were laying on beds Tat 2 said "They are not saying much Tat" I was just going to explain about intensive Bear ward but it was too late Tat 2 had gone over to one of the old Bears lying under a blanket and on a honey drip, before I could stop him Tat 2 had lifted up the blanket to see what was wrong with the old Bear.
The fur was there but no stuffing inside the Bear, he did not look well at all and at this point Tat 2 passed out cold fell from the counter top and banged his head on the floor he lay not moving. Amanda the nurse heard all the commotion and came in to see what we were up to she gasped what has happened here I told her of Tat 2's inquisitive nature "will he be alright" I asked as I was getting quite concerned at the time,
Amanda told me about the honey drip and its special powers as she connected it to Tat 2 he will be fine just give him some time.
Now I have seen Tat 2 get into all sorts of trouble but this time I was really worried he was just not moving Amanda the nurse kept checking him and the honey drip adjusting the flow, Bartie was by my side and telling me some tales of Bears he had met at the hospital when all of a sudden Tat 2 sat up in the bed “Tat where am I thought we were going to see the patients what's this drip why can I taste honey” “Its ok Tat 2 you had a fall the nurse put you on the honey drip to make you better” “Nothing wrong with me where's my pony” Tat 2 said.
Woo hoo Tat 2 is back to normal talking nonsense, so there we were visiting a hospital in the New Forest and meeting the patients then Tat 2 ended up as a patient just another normal day in the lives of Tat's

Hey ffb, in order to slow down the hordes of spammers, we've had to change how people sign up for an account. Now, when you register, you will get an email. You have to validate the email, and then wait for the admin (that's me and sometimes test bear) to approve you. We still want fofurrees to join us, but we've had to make it more complicated so spammers stay away. If you are having problems with the site, the best way to contact Bella is via a private message. I sometimes don't look at my message board for weeks on end. You can also contact Raeb, Myster, or Scott on Facebook/Myspace/Twitter etc.

None of this should effect your accounts that have already been activated. If there are any problems, let me know.

Squash, Squash, Squash!!!!

I've done a complete site upgrade/update and as of Sunday 23:00 GMT, I don't see any bugs. I've pretty much spent the entire weekend fixing bugs. Tired of bugs. There are quite a few extra features and there will be a few more in the coming weeks. Here's a list of the things that are a bit different.

1. Artfolio Widget. There is noting I can do to get this going. It crashes the entire site when I activate it. I apologise to anyone who used this regularly. You can use the files widget/toolbar to post pictures. If you have any questions, mail me about it.

2. Activity toolbar, widget. Your "Friends Activity" widget doesn't work anymore, however, there is a replacement. The new "Activity" widget is used for both friends and your own activity. Place two copies on your desktop or profile page. Select "edit" in the top right of the widget. You can select either "mine" for your own activity or "friends" for your friends activity. The widget defaults to "mine".

3. Members. There is a cool new little toolbar for members. There is a list of everyone on the site, a list for the most popular people on the site, and a list for recently active.

4. The Wire. It's sort of like a site-wide twitter. Play around with it, you'll get the idea pretty soon.

5. Twitter. You can now post your twitter comments. Unfortunately, it's very basic, but I am working on an upgrade in the very near future. I'll let everyone get used to the new site.

6. The front page. You'll notice that there is a different design to the front page. If you like it, let me know. If you want the old one back (well, almost like the old one) I can change it back. Let me know either way.

Hopefully this upgrade, update will make the site function better. I hope it'll work for you. If you have any problems, let me know.

I ALWAYS blame facebook. Bella said it had something to do with MYSQL database GET strings and it was probably caused by a update or system problem with the webhost server, but I don't believe her. She's too smart for that. IT was facebook. They caused the crash, I know it. Stupid facebook.

The human is on holiday and had to be called in to help fix the problems. He will be home this weekend and boy will he get a good talking to (and a few cuddles too). Stupid facebook.

Hi Friends, Welcome to Fofurreebook!

I’m writing this FAQ because I’ve noticed new friends have joined up but that they maybe missed a few steps in the setting up of their page.

It’s a little confusing here, but when you click on the EDIT PAGE link and go into the ADD WIDGETS area, you need to click SAVE after you have dragged the widgets to the columns you want them to show up in on your profile page. If you don’t click SAVE after adding widgets to the columns, they won’t show up on your profile page and your friends won’t be able to see them.

Your PROFILE PAGE. You can see your profile page by clicking on the little icon of yourself located on the top of any page on the far left. If you haven’t yet uploaded an icon, just click on the little blue/while head icon up there.

Once you are on your profile page, and your widgets are all there where you want them, you can then click on the EDIT link on each icon and edit the functions for each widget a little further. Such as, if you click the EDIT link on the FRIENDS Widget, you can change the amount of friends that will show up in that widget, and also who can see/access your widget (I recommend choosing “logged in users”), and the icon size. All of the Widgets are Editable but have different options, so check them out.

Adding an ARTFOLIO or uploading a FILE to you page. To do either, go up to the top bar there on your page, and where it says TOOLS, choose your option from the drop down menu and follow the instructions which are located on the left panel of the new page. ie: “Write a artfolio post” will lead you to the page where you can up load photos to an artfolio. Unfortunately you can only write text to an artfolio, not the individual photos within it. ADDING/FINDING FRIENDS
The best way to find friends is to look on other friend’s walls. Then click on the icon of the friend you want to add to you friend widget.

If you have videos on Youtube, you can add them directly to the youtube widget by clicking the EDIT link on the widget and then copying in the url to your youtube video.

GROUPS. There’s lots of groups on here. Again, the best way to find them, is to look on other friends walls. Some groups require membership, but don’t worry about that, all are welcome in any group, so just sent the group owner and msg so they can add you.

So happy to find somewhere to meet other bears. Because of my size I find it very difficult to make friends, partly because they can't see me! I have a big heart and love to help people, I have an advantage over others because I can get where they can't!! Love to go searching in places and finding small treasures, will let you know if I find anything Interesting.
